MESOTHERAPY

Mesotherapy is a procedure in which enzymes, vitamins, hyaluronic acid, or other drugs specifically formulated to treat particular conditions are applied through injection, using fine needles, at a shallow depth under the skin.

It can be used for treatments such as cellulite, accumulated fat, fluid retention, melasma, acne scars, scars and stretch marks, hair strengthening, among others, with specific "cocktails" and ingredients depending on the objective.

  • How is the procedure done?

  • It is a very simple and quick procedure. After an evaluation consultation and medical history:
  • Explanation of the procedure and reading of the informed consent form;
  • Photographs and videos of the area to be treated are taken;
  • Cleaning of the area;
  • Marking with a pencil of the treatment to be performed;
  • It is usually done without topical anesthesia, however, depending on the area, an anesthetic cream may be applied to improve any discomfort. Cold is often used as an anesthetic;
  • Cleaning and disinfection before each injection, and the product is infiltrated using fine needles separated by a few centimeters;
  • A cream is usually applied at the end of the procedure to heal and improve any possible bruising that may occur, in addition to sunscreen.
